Investing in Fuel continuously part of Obaro’s core strategy

The reopening of Obaro Hoedspruit’s fuel station took place on 30 March 2021. Obaro is positive that adding the new Padstal, as well as several other upgrades will make the fuel station more accessible and provide the best possible experience to its customers.

The fuel station will henceforth trade 24 hours, 7 days a week. The Padstal also offers a one-stop opportunity for your daily bread and milk shopping, water refill services and various treats before setting course for your destination.

The fuel station was opened in collaboration with Total, as a strategic partner “Obaro and Total’s relationship extends past the 60-year mark in both fuel and lubricants. Total is one of our most trusted suppliers and this is but one of many infrastructural developments Obaro is tackling alongside the oil giant. Total ensures that Obaro’s fuel stations meets international standards, only the best is good enough.” – Heleen Byleveldt, Obaro Fuel Manager.

During the opening ceremony, Cor Cross (Director, Obaro Business Investments), opened the proceedings with Scripture Reading and Prayer, after which Johan van den Heever (Chairman, Obaro Business Investments), conducted the ribbon-cutting ceremony.

“Obaro, as a company strive to align ourselves with the needs of our customers and the opening of this fuel station forms part of that strategy. Good infrastructure in rural areas promotes uninterrupted product and service delivery to farmers, this in turn contributes to the sustainability for our customers and ultimately food security for our country. Farmers’ business allows us to make this investment to benefit the whole community. We are aligned with the farmer and know that they are the backbone of any community. ” said Nic Bronkhorst (Managing Director, Obaro).
